Dear AVSC Sweden
May I start this short letter to you by telling you how delighted and honoured I am to be manager of a such a magnificent club as Aston Villa. The Club has a wonderful history, a superb stadium and, most importantly, passionate supporters.
In my first two games the fans have been extremely vocal and have been a great help to the squad. We have made a promising start to the season and I am under no illusion that you, the members of AVSC Sweden and your fellow Villa fans have played a significant role in that.
On the behalf of the players, I would like to thank you for the fantastic support you give the team. I have been informed that there are 42 supporters' clubs in the British Isles and around the world and it is a heart warming thought to know we have such strong backing.
