Carsley skriver på nytt kontrakt!
Våran egen bollvinnare Lee Carsley skrev idag på ett nytt kontrakt med klubben och dödade därmed ryktena om att han skulle vara på väg till Wigan.
Lee Carsley tog pennan i sin hand och skrev under kontraktet som binder honom till Everton för ännu en säsong. Därmed är alla rykten om en flytt till Wigan helt döda.
Carsley säger så här:
"I am absolutely delighted to be honest. I have had a fantastic time here and hopefully that can continue now.
"Myself and the gaffer sat down two or three months ago and he said he wanted me to stay and I said I wanted to stay as well. I am just glad we have come to an agreement.
"We have got the UEFA Cup to look forward to next season. The manager has got the right blend at the minute and that is important."
Carsley var en spelare som var högst delaktig i att det gått såpass bra denna säsong genom att han spelade alla matcher från start och med sitt uppoffrande spel på mitten öppnade för Artetas kretivitet.
Vi tackar Carsley för att han skrivit på kontraket och att han ska fortsätta prestera på samma sätt nästa säsong!
