Dave var på plats när Stoke City äntligen tog sig vidare till en kvartsfinal i en cup.
Aye up duck,

Well maybe.
Ok, we haven't really played anyone yet in this competition but Stoke are in the quarter finals of the League cup for the first time since 1979.
Rotherham fans took advantage of the cheap ticket prices (£10) and brought a good following of around 3,000 supporters
Pulis again rested a large proportion of the first team. However the lads who came in did more than enough to secure a comfortable Stoke victory.
Simmo...Made one really good save midway through the second half when the Rotherhams lively forward Reid turned well to shoot.
Wilko & Dicko...A little too eager to play the ball forward at times.
Shawcross & Cort...Dealt with what Rotherham had to offer with no problem.
Whelan...Made captain as a sweetener for not getting a regular game. Scored his second direct goal from a free kick in this competition.
Pugh....Took his goal well and did an acrobatic celebration.
Olly.....Did enough. Later replaced by Amdy Faye.
Cresswell...OK
Pericard...Poor game. Poor control, hardly won any headers and missed a chance when put through on goal by Kitson.
Kitson.....Really enjoyed himself in the second half and showed what a good footballer he is.
Faye....Got about the pitch well.
Fuller...Didn't do that much when brought on.
Arsenal in the next round? The draw is on Saturday at 12 midday.
