Såhär efter matchen mot CSKA Moskva, så vänder  vi upp och ned på tidningarna och ser vad vi hittar i pressen om matchen.

Mästertränare Wenger menade att CSKA Moskva dock var bättre fram till målet och erkänenr att de är ett mycket kapabelt lag. Planen var dock i bedrövligt skick och målet verkade vara OK. "We do not depend on decisions, we depend on our own quality of play. Until they went 1-0 ahead, Moscow were sharper than us, winning more fights than us and finally got the advantage they deserved at that point of the game. We tried to attack after that, and they defended in an intelligent way. They got a bit of luck with the kind of goal which was cancelled, but overall they have shown great quality.

"The quality of the pitch was a handicap. UEFA has to look into that because it is not acceptable that you play on pitches like that in the Champions League. They deserve a much better pitch, and that can make them better.

I felt it was a goal. I knew from the reaction of Thierry. I did not see better than the referee."

We knew Moscow were a good team before the game. They are difficult to beat, but I still think we can do that and can show what we can do in the second game"

Thierry Henry var vansinnig efter matchen. Han kritiserade domarens beslut att döma bort målet, som var korrekt. Bollen tog i magen och sedan gjorde Henry mål.
"The referee saw a handball when there wasn't a handball. You will have to ask him why this is so. He gave me a yellow for a deliberate handball but if you can see that on the replay I'll give you whatever you want. I know it was a clean and clear goal. The keeper and defenders did not call it, only a linesman 60 yards away." 

CSKAs målvakt Igor Akinfejev hyllar CSKAs team spirit och att Gunners var ganska lättlästa med sitt passningsspel. Till skillnad från HSV dock, så lyfte de in mer bollar i boxen. "Arsenal were too casual.This attitude, the intention to pass the ball around, was especially clear in the first 15 minutes. We knew it wasn't going to be easy - we expected a very tough game - but we played with complete determination and this was a decisive factor. We also got the result we wanted..There were some very nervous moments at the end of the match," he said. "When [Hamburger SV] were in the same situation [on Matchday 2] they just pumped balls into the box. Arsenal were much smarter and created danger in front of our goal. It's too early to celebrate, though. We need to go on. We have a game in England and a home match against FC Porto. If we get three points from these, then I think our job is done."

Valerij Gassajev, mannen med mustaschen, menade att det var en mycket stor seger, med tanke på alla stora spelare Gunners har. "I must congratulate our fans for their fantastic support in this tough match against one of the best teams in the world and their outstanding coach. This victory was a well deserved and honourable one. I think we chose the right tactics today, as it would have been difficult for us to compete against Arsenal in an open game. They have such a strong, technically skilled attack with players like [Cesc] Fabregas, [Tomáš] Rosický and [Thierry] Henry and in my opinion they deserved to win the [UEFA] Champions League last season more than any other team. Today's game was one of our best matches of the season and the experience we will take from the game makes it an even more postive result. It is good to be leaders of the group but our aim is to collect enough points to qualify."
