Mertesacker blir ny chef för Gunners Akademi
BFG ägde FA-cup-finalen mot Chelsea. Jag tycker att han äger det mesta- personligen. En trevlig , ironisk natur med humor och med ett hjärta för klubben. Å nu tar Per Mertesacker a k a "Big Fucking German" nästa steg i sin karriär.
Han blir ny chef för Gunners akademi från och med 2018/19. Efter att Andries Jonker valde att lämna klubben och gå till Wolfsburg, som chefstränare, så har Luke Hobbs rullat på som temporär ledare för Gunners akademi och kommer så att fortsätta under 2017/18. Samtidigt spelas Per Mertesacker in som ny framtida ledare och det kom som en mindre skräll.
Men han kommer med en rutin som få andra. Över hundra landskamper för Tyskland, VM-Guld och tre FA-cup-vinster med Gunners.

After that, I look forward to the exciting challenge of helping produce young players good enough to play for the Arsenal first team.”
