Protest mot Ellis på Lördag

Villa Fans Combined ger följande pressrelease

Inför protesten på lördag har VFC skrivit följande:

Press Release - Immediate

Villa Fans Combined would like to remind all fans of Aston Villa that a march to protest against the dictatorial reign of Mr Ellis has been organised.

2pm, Aston Church, Trinity Road, November 29th. We encourage anyone who wants to try to bring about change to attend, each and every person attending makes the message that bit louder. Feel free to bring your own banners.

VFC will be giving out 40 000 leaflets and over 2000 posters to hold up during the game. Graham Taylor stated this week 'I was manager of a club who were run by the chairman/chief executive, Doug Ellis, for Doug Ellis and on behalf of Doug Ellis'.

We now call on the board of directors to stand down, as they have not been able to influence Mr Ellis and his corner shop approach to running Villa. The club deserves to be run like a superstore. We respectfully ask Mr Stride; an undoubted Villa fan, to follow Mark Ansell and leave Mr Ellis standing alone. It is time for everyone to unite to remove Mr Ellis from power.

The fans are not fooled by the appointment of a firm of headhunters to find a new Chief Executive; we will only be appeased when Mr Ellis hires a merchant bank to actively seek out buyers to bring in new finance and a more dynamic board.

VFC categorically re-state our 100% support to the team and manager.
