Sanchez vill fylla kassakistan
"We will not be the team it can be until the end of the month and we have started very brightly, but the season is not played in the first week in August.
The team are enjoying playing and are enjoying winning. To be fair to the side, they have worked hard from day one of pre-season and they are now getting their reward.
There are a lot of players when I came in last season that I thought they should have been doing better than they were. We have kept the nucleus of the side that stayed up and we have added some more quality to it and the rewards are beginning to show."
Han talar också om hur han gillar cupmatcherna och att det kan leda till förstärknignar av truppen:
"I like cup tournaments, they are one off games were they put you against teams that you do not normally play and I always tell my sides that this is a great opportunity for a scalp to be had.
I do not have a preference for who we are drawn against, whoever it is we are enjoying the experience. With the greatest respect we will probably not win the Carling Cup but we would like to go a fair way in it and hopefully fill the coffers.
If that happens then it could mean the chairman gives me a little more money to bring in one or two more players because the squad is great but we could do with perhaps a little more experience."
