Bantams Banter - Samarbete med Tom & Dom
Bradford redaktionen har inlett ett litet samarbete med Bradfords podcast ledare, Tom och Dom. De kommer skriva lite om läget i Bradford, vad som varit bra och dåligt osv.
Bantams Banter is pretty much exactly what it says on the tin! Banter about Bradford City in the form of a nice little piece of online audio, otherwise known as a podcast. Bantams Banter developed through two friends and a mutual love for their hometown club, both Tom and Dom write, produce and host the podcast which is available to download a few days after EVERY home game (about every 2 weeks).
Both Tom and Dom have media experience with Dom working for both Sky and the BBC and Tom having a stint at the BBC and The National Media Museum. Dom also used to work at Bradford City as the Press Officer so they are both pretty clued up when it comes to Bradford City and the Media.
They record the whole podcast from the ground in the Press Box every Home game and include interviews, regular features and their very own individual style commentary on what’s unfolding before their eyes. This unique approach to the podcast has given them the tag of an ‘alternative’ look at the goings on at the club. Making a podcast ‘by the fans for the fans’ also means they want to get as many Bradford City supporters involved as possible and by introducing regular competitions and the Phone a Fan feature means they can keep their listeners on their toes and the podcast very much interactive.
This FREE podcast has so far achieved nearly 21,000 downloads which is amazing and overwhelming considering it’s only on the 13th Episode. They have gained a large following through Twitter (@bantamsbanter) and Facebook (search Bantams Banter) and use these Social Networks to keep in touch with their dedicated listener base!
