Silly Season är ryktenas och galningarnas tid. Och när inga direkta rykten finns kring just din klubb, får man ju helt enkelt tåta ihop egna! Här får ni 10 bevis på varför David Beckham kommer nobba Real Madrid och Barcelona och i stället dra på sig Albions randiga tröja!

Beckham to sign for the Albion?

England captain David Beckham is, we believe, destined not to wash up on the Spanish shores this summer, but could be about to make a shock move to the Albion !!!!
We looked at the "evidence" pointing to an Albion summer switch and you have to admit the evidence is compelling.........
1. Beckham is a gay icon. What better place to be seen "out" and about in than Brighton ?
2. He would not look out of place in a dress in Brighton. Men in dresses are 10 a penny.
3. The names "Stevie Coppell" and "David Beckham" are both worth the same number of points in scrabble.
4. Coppell was a Man Utd legend. Beckham is a Man Utd legend.
5. Coppell used to play with a wing wizard called Gordon Hill. Beckham plays with a Welsh wing wizard called Ryan Giggs. He could link up with Albion target and Welsh wing wizard John Robinson.
6. Norman Cook and Zoe Ball live in Brighton. A Rock star and a celeb. Posh and Beck's move in, Hey presto ! A Football star and a celeb !
7. Mr. Cook could help "re- launch" Victoria's pop career.
8. Beckham goes to bed at night. We have a chairman called Knight ! ( spooky or what ! )
9. Steve coppell used to wear the number 7. Beckham wears the number 7.
10. Captain Sensible ( A.K.A. Ray Burns) was once at the opening of a record shop in Trafalgar street called " Vynal Demand" (A Blinding shop, really good). Beckham is the England Captain and he is sensible; unfortunately his wife's records are not in demand!!
Err , that's it. But you have to admit he does look Albion bound !!!!!!!!!!!
