Paul Butler borta
En skadad fot är det som sätter stopp för spel mot Luton.
I halvtid i matchen på Ninian Park mot Cardiff var Paul Butler tvungen att byta. Det var då oklart varför, men det sades vara en skada. Nu är det klart att Paul Butler brutit ett ben i foten och kommer vara borta några veckor. Enligt Kevin Blackwell ska Butler ha skadat sig i matchen mot Millwall och det var oklart om han kunde spela mot Cardiff.
- It looks as if it could be a broken foot. He did it on Sunday and we thought he could get away with it thinking it was heavy bruising, but unfortunately it looks a lot worse than that, säger Blackwell till www.lufc.com
För att vara helt säkra på Butlers skada ska den röntgas idag, men det är troligt att Matthew Kilgallon kommer starta bredvid Sean Gregan som mittback mot Luton på lördag.
- It's a big blow losing your captain because he's a good player for us and a big voice on the pitch. But the gaffer has gone on record saying we have 23 players all capable of putting on the shirt and it was a good opportunity for Kilgallon tonight, and he needs to take his chances. I thought he did well apart from the handball and they are costly errors we need to learn from. From my angle there was a handball there, but I think at the other end we were hard done by to say the least because when Eric's had his shot it definitely hit one of the Cardiff defenders hands and it's decisions like that that cost you points, säger Shaun Derry.
