Dave Victor: You're planning for the future. Does that mean that you are the Leyton Orient manager for next season?
Russell Slade: Yeah I haven't put pen to paper or anything like that...

Plötsligt dyker Barry Hearn upp helt oväntat.

Barry Hearn: He's going nowhere, he's going nowhere!
RS: ...but I've enjoyed myself so much and hopefully we can sort things out.
DV: So Barry is there a contract there?
BH: Yes, I have his left testicle in my safe. I'm letting him keep his right testicle for the moment.

skratt

BH: I'm very, very pleased with Russell Slade obviously. It's only five games but I like his enthusiasm and what he's bringing to the table. One way or another, trust me , we'll have to sort it out in the car park, he's signing on Monday for the next two years.
DV: Thank you, very good news indeed, and as you know there was a new manager last season... And it is important to build on this achievement isn't it?
BH: Are you suggesting that he won't be here for two years?

skratt

BH: No we're in the dream factory, we're in the dream factory. The job for the manager at this level is the toughest job in the world, 'cause he has limited resources yet everybody, myself and the fans included, expect him to do a miracle job.
BH: Not since the man did a fantastic job with a loaf of bread and three little fish have we ever raised a challenge so much in front of one person. Never has so few season tickets owed so much to one person. So were looking forward to next year it's going to be a lot of fun and we'll upset a lot of people. And as I've just said to the directors of Colchester. I'm very confident of seeing them in the play-off final next year.
DV: We look forward to that, congratulations to Russell Slade...
RS: Yes, no pressure there.
DV: ...to the appointment. And good luck, you're gonna need it.
