För några minuter sedan kom beskedet. Matchen ställs in på grund av dåligt väder.
Det är busväder i Manchester men det är ju inte ovanligt så inte helt säkert varför domaren bestämde sig för att ställa in matchen. Oklart även i skrivande stund vad lagen tyckte men det känns som att båda lagen helst hade fått den avklarad för att inte få ett hektiskt program senare. City som än så länge är med i fyra turneringar kan få svårt att få in matchen i spelschemat framöver. Tid för nytt speldatum lär nog dröja till i alla fall efter helgens FA-cup match mot Chelsea.

Manchester City's match against Sunderland has been called off after conditions were deemed unsafe.
Greater Manchester Police said they had been assessing conditions but a spokeswoman confirmed at 6.30pm that it would be unsafe for the match to go ahead.
@GMPCityCentre tweeted: "GAME OFF - Manchester City's V Sunderland has been called off because conditions are deemed 'unsafe'."
Captain Vincent Kompany also confirmed the news on Twitter, saying: "Game's called off! Make sure you get yourselves home and be safe, weather is terrible!"
Scott Wilson, a journalist for the Northern Echo who was at the Etihad, described the situation as "madness around here."
