Mark Gower lämnar Swansea
Mark Gower, 34 år, lämnar Swansea efter ömsesidig överenskommelse. Mittfältaren har varit utlånad en del då han är långt ifrån en plats i startelvan numera. Kontraktet går snart ut och inget nytt hamnar på bordet. Gower verkar inte alltför bitter utan gillar läget.
"It could not have gone much better for me. The club has only gone in one direction, and that's up. What we have achieved at Swansea has been incredible and beyond our wildest dreams.
If someone had said to me the day I signed here that we'd get into the Premier League, win the League Cup and get into Europe then I'd need some convincing.
But that's what we have done, and everyone here has played their part and should feel so proud with everything that has been achieved. I'm sad to be leaving, but it is in the best interests of both myself and the club." (källa: citat)
Mark Gower kom till klubben 2008 och har varit starkt bidragande till uppgången från lägre divisioner. När klubben nu nått så långt som man gjort håller han som förstått inte riktigt måttet.
