Notis: Mark Gower förlänger
Wingern som skolats om till central mittfältare och gjort stor succé förlänger med Swansea. Dåvarande kontrakt gick ut efter säsongen och detta förlängs nu med ytterligare ett år, till slutet av 2012 alltså. Gower är född 1978 så kontraktslängden känns lämplig.
Gower själv är helnöjd: "I couldn't be happier, if I'm honest, during pre-season I thought my future at the club looked bleak. We didn't have a manager and the wide positions were looking strong. I was worried about not getting in the team and I am not the type who would be happy sitting on the bench. Things looked uncertain. But the new gaffer came in, switched me to a new position in the holding role and I'd like to think that my performances have earned me the new contract." (planetswans)
