Intervju med Fraser på Forest World

Nottingham Forests egen hustomte under luppen

Name: Fraser Nicholson
Age: 35
I live in: Newark - a town 20 miles from Nottingham.

When did you become a Nottingham Forest supporter?
I have to confess I never supported Forest as a youngster but have followed their fortunes on a professional basis for the past 15 years.

Your first memory of Nottingham Forest?
It would have to be the 1979 European Cup final win over Malmo. I remember watching it on TV.

Your nicest memory of Forest?
I've been associated with Forest since 1989 and have many happy memories - like reaching the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup in 1996; the 1998 promotion success and the emergence of young players like Andy Reid, Michael Dawson, Jermaine Jenas and David Prutton.

Favourite player in today's Nottingham Forest?Difficult one that for me. I'll pass on it just in case the lads happen to read this interview.

How many times, approximately, have you watched Nottingham Forest live?
I've lost count.

What kind of Nottingham Forest souvenirs have you got?
Mostly memories of European and pre-season trips to the US and Holland.

Who is your all time favourite player in Nottingham Forest?
Stan Collymore - he was awesome during his two seasons at The City Ground.

Which team(s) in England do you dislike the most?
I don't really dislike any other team but if pressed I would go for Manchester United.

Any other favourite teams?
England.

Joe Kinnear or Brian Clough?

Archie Gemmill or Scot Gemmill?

Des Walker or Viv Anderson
Des

Pierre Van Hoijdonk or David Johnson?

Ale (beer) or Sangria (wine)?
Wine

Forest or sheep?
There can only be one answer!

What are you wearing on matchday?
It depends - the press box at The City Ground is freezing, so anything that keeps out the cold!

What would be your dream signing for Nottingham Forest?
Wayne Rooney!

Worst Nottingham Forest game you can remember?
There have been a few . but one of the most recent was the 1-0 home defeat by Coventry that proved to be Paul Hart's last game in charge of The Reds.

How will it go this season?
Joe Kinnear is making no secret of the fact that he's gunning for promotion . and I certainly believe Forest can figure in the promotion reckoning.

Who will become our next international (senior)?
Michael Dawson.

Please tell us about any memory you have of an away game?
Playing Lyon in the UEFA Cup. I can't remember much about the game, apart from the fact that I have never felt as cold in my life! It was freezing . in fact, almost a decade on I've only just thawed out.

Last, why should people start supporting Nottingham Forest?
Because I believe there could be good times ahead under the management of Joe Kinnear.

Vi tackar Fraser för hans svar på våra frågor, även om han avslöjade att han inte har Forest som favoritgäng. Vi tackar även Kenneth som tjatade på Fraser om denna intervju.
