Shrewsbury har inte gett upp!
Med en match kvar av säsongen insisterar Shrewsburys tränare Graham Turner till alla klubbens supportrar att hans lag kommer att utmana Wycombe hela vägen mot direktkvalificering för League One.
Med helgens vinst borta mot Cheltenham med 1-0 tog Shrewsbury tre livsviktiga poäng för att nå tredje platsen. En plats som Wycombe fortfarande behåller efter att ha slagit ligatvåan Bury med 3-1, och därmed fortfarande en poäng före Shrewsbury.
Medan Shrewsbury möter ligaelvan och nykomlingen Oxford United hemma tar Wycombe emot Southend.
- Wycombe are in the driving seat but all we can do is win our home game and hope a result goes well elsewhere, säger Turner till Shropshire Star.
- We are still breathing down their necks and if there is any slip up at all, we are still in there. You do get some surprises in the last match of the season. They go into it under pressure knowing nothing less than a win will suffice providing we do our jobs.
- They have to assume we will win so it just adds a little bit for them.
