Nyheter om Sidibe

Det kommer goda nyheter angående Mamady Sidibe idag. Om allting går som det ska så är han tillbaka i början på januari igen. Detta går att läsa på Why Delilah idag:

Pulis eyes January return for striker

STOKE City striker Mama Sidibe is out of action until the new year after tests revealed he hyper-extended his knee at the weekend.

Today’s diagnosis comes as a big relief to the club after fears he could have damaged his cruciate knee ligament when falling awkwardly in the early stages of Saturday’s goalless draw with Fulham.

Sidibe underwent a second scan after the first had proved inconclusive on his damaged knee.

And today manager Tony Pulis revealed: “He’ll be out over Christmas and most probably miss the FA Cup game at Hartlepool in the new year, but after that we are keeping our fingers crossed.

“It seems that he has hyper-extended his knee and left it a little bit unstable as a result, so we’ve got to go carefully with him.

“He will have a mix of rest and strengthening work to build up the knee again and most probably wear a brace for a short while to help stabilise it.

“We are relieved it wasn’t any worse than this, to be honest, because you can sometimes be in the lap of the Gods when it comes to knee injuries.”
