Braga - Benfica 0-0
Benfica tappade åter igen viktiga poäng i ligan i jakten på Porto.
Braga började matchen klart bäst och tog tidigt tag i taktpinnen, man skapade många bra chanser men lyckades inte få in bollen efter dåliga avslut och fint spel från Benficamålvakten Quim.
Benficas ända riktiga chans i första halvlek kom efter en kontring där Benfica kom 4 stycken mot 2 Bragaförsvarare, men Rodriguez skott lyckades tyvärr Bragamålvakten parera.
I andra halvlek var spelet mycket mer avvaktande, Braga hade några bra chanser men Quim (matchens spelare) fortsatte rädda Benfica den här kvällen.
Efter endast a poäng borta mot Braga så är Benfica nu hela 6 poäng bakom Porto, även om det bara gått 5 omgångar så känns det redan nu att det kommer bli väldigt tufft att komma ifatt.
Camacho om matchen:
"If we were tired from the European match, we wouldn't have dominated the last 20 minutes of the game like we did, just needed the goals."
" Nuno Gomes was substituted because he had played his part. Cardozo could have also been important in the match. I was happy with Binya's [Gilles] performance, he did what I asked him to do."
"FC Porto have won all their games but it doesn't bother me. The distance doesn't worry me either, because there is a lot to go in the Liga. I want us to win our games and then in the end we will see where we end up, first or second."
Cardozo lovar att jobba på:
"I believe I'm trying my best, even though the goals aren't coming. I am getting to know my teammates and I promise to work on my finishing to score more goals. I'm calm and hope in the next upcoming games I can do just that, I want to satisfy the fans. All forwards feed of goals, and I'm no exception, I want to take full advantage of the opportunities that come by me."
Rui Costa besviken:
"The draw would have been a positive result if we hadn't lost points early in the season. It's a very negative result. Six points behind already says something, but there are still many games to play. We were expecting a strong start by Braga and rely on our counter attacks. We did that well but failed to score."
