Juventus J - IFK Göteborg J 2-1
Den italienska Blåvitt-supportern Giuliano Adaglio ger sina intryck från ungdomsturneringen utanför Turin.
After a good draw (0-0) against Chievo in the first match, IFK today tried to stop italian giant Juventus. In the early minutes Juve takes the lead with a head goal that surprised the Blåvitt defense. Blåvitt's reaction was good and at the end of first half we equalized with another header by right-back Peter Carlsson from a corner by Denis Gavrilov. In the second half the match was quite boring, with not so many shots on goal. IFK's defense was stabil, and for Juve it was very difficult to create opportunities to score. In the last minutes, unfortunately, Juve find a lucky goal after a confusing situation.
IFK Göteborg played with a 4-4-2 formation, with Alexander Nadj as keeper. Two brilliant saves by him, jättebra! A defense from right with Peter Carlsson, Vladimir Majdandzic, Joel Gustavsson and Gustav Svensson. Carlsson scored, Gustavsson and Majdandzic made a very interesting "mittbackspar". A midfield from right with Niklas Asp, Robert Davidsson, Andres Vazquez and Denis Gavrilov. A midfield with an interesting mix of strength (Davidsson & Asp) and technique (Vazquez & Gavrilov). As forward Emil Kumlin played together with Fredrik Waldenstedt (both not in great form today).
After the final whistle I talked with IFK-trainer, Alessandro Cunsolo, an italian-swedish guy, who was very kind. I told him about my passion for Blåvitt and he was quite surprised! He presented me to all the IFK-staff and we talked (in italian!) about the IFK junior squad, Martin Crossa, Hasse Blomqvist and alot of other IFK-related stuff. He was, just like me, happy about today's match. He gave me a lot of IFK-pins and a pennon! Big thanks!
Tomorrow IFK will play against Orbassano, a little regional-society with a good youth program. They lost in the first match against Juve 5-1, so IFK has a good chance to grab a victory!
