Giuliano Adaglio, Blåvitt-supporter i Turin, ger sin syn på IFK Göteborgs juniorer.
IFK Göteborg leaves Maggioni-Righi Tournament after a draw (0-0) against Orbassano, a little team of a town near Turin. In the previous two matches Orbassano lost against Juventus (5-1) and Chievo (4-0), but today they played a very good match. Now IFK doesn't have the chance to win the tournament.
I only saw the IFK-matches against Juve and Orbassano, but here is my "betyg" (1-5) to the youthplayers of Blåvitt.
ALEXANDER NADJ 4: A very secure goalkeeper, with strength and personality. He made a lot of important saves and didn't make any evident mistake.
PETER KARLSSON 3: He scored the only IFK-goal of the tournament, with a header after a corner. Quick right back with offensive style. Not always concentrate in defensive play.
JOEL GUSTAFSSON 3: Brilliant match against Juve-talent Ventucci, not so good against Orbassano. However, he's a very good prospect, very strong, rich in positioning and tackling.
VLADIMIR MAJDANDZIC 3: Another interesting centre-back, less strong than Gustavsson, but quicker and skillfull. He was secure in both matches.
GUSTAV SVENSSON 3: 1987-born, he's an offensive left-back, with good technique, strong body and personality. Not so effective against Juve, but he was on of the most valuable against Orbassano.
DENIS GAVRILOV 3: Little right/left wing, he's skillful and moves intelligent, but he has to reinforce his body to became a first-team player. Also specialist in corners and free kicks.
ROBERT DAVIDSSON 4: The most mature player in this team at the moment. Robert is always in the core of the action, with is precise passages, his strength and his personality. I bet a first-team future for him!
ANDRES VASQUEZ 3: A little genius with the ball, he always try to create something on the pitch, but sometimes his individualism is negative for the team. He also have to train a lot on shot, too much weak attempts.
NICKLAS ASP 2: An offensive midfielder/lateral forward with great potential. He didn't play so well against both Juve and Orbassano. Better as midfielder, however.
FERNANDO ECHENIQUE 3: A skillful left-wing who played few minutes against Juve and almost entire match vs Orbassano. He lack a bit in personality, but showed good technique and dribbling.
EMIL KUMLIN 2: Powerful forward who plays as target-player in the centre of IFK attack. Not so quick, he also have to work hard on technique to became a regular in Allsvenskan.
FREDRIK WALDENSTEDT 3: Little better than Kumlin, he also didn't play a great tournament. I can say the same about TOBIAS BENGTSSON, who have played only few minutes in both matches.
VIKTOR NYBERG, DAVID BJÖRKERYD, CHRISTOPHER SOLBERG, ADAM REGGIANI and TOBIAS SUNDBERG, with the trainer ALESSANDRO CUNZOLO, complete the Blåvitt roster in Borgaro.
