A rainy day for Wallensteen

Andrea Doria provided ”the sunshine” in the rain during todays match against Wallensteen. Although falling behind due to a miscommunication between Petter “Oddo” Johansson and Tommy Pedersen in the early stages of the game, Doria was never really threatened in todays fixture.

With impressing calm and steady passing the Andrea Dorians showed absolutely no respect for the very experienced Wallensteen. With an average age of 62, Wallensteen didn’t cause much trouble for their highly technical opponents, fronted by the hovering Hussfelt and free-kick-demanding Heggelund. Topscorer Dinnesen continued the quest for “The Golden Bear” with two goals in yet another impressive display. Covering at least 50 meters during the game, the dane showed great understanding and positioning. Another highlight of the morning was Petter “Oddo” Johanssons run, clinically finished with an outstanding goal, leading to the famous goalgesture “The moose.” The crowd on the stands, being a seagull and a rat, seemed overjoyed.

The always reliable Borggren together with new signing Simon Bank (transferred for the combined sum of a box of Ettan and a herring from Aftonbladet) and Oskar all gave sollied performances, rallied forward by David “Safehandstén” Falten. Debutant Pedersen contributed with experience, but didn’t quite live up to the expectations raised in the media, and is said to be devastated by the loss of an airduell near the end of the game. Being out of oxygen following the run back, Pedersen stated he thought it was the seagull leaving the stadium.

TEAMtalk.
