Dallas Stars hade en tidig match mot Calgary Flames på lördags eftermiddagen. Vinsten gav på nytt Stars ledningen i sin divison och dom studsade upp på tredjeplatsen i Western Conference igen. Innan matchen hölls en minnesceremoni för Karlis Skrastins som omkom tillsammans med alla övriga spelare i Lokomotiv i den tragiska flygolyckan i Ryssland i september 2011. Dallas Stars har satt upp en fond för Skrastins tre döttrar och ägaren Tom Gaglardi kommer att matcha de pengar Stars spelare ger til
