Allen Iverson till Memphis Grizzlies
De sista dagarna har det lutat åt att Allen Iverson skulle tacka ja till Memphis Grizzlies kontraktsförslag. Och i dag bekräftar huvudpersonen via sitt Twitterkonto att han kommer att spela i Memphis kommande säsong.
Klockan 16 svensk tid kom så Twitterposten som vi alla har väntat på. Allen "The Answer" Iverson kommer nästa säsong att spela tillsammans med Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay & Co.
"God Chose Memphis as the place that I will continue my career. I met with Mr. Heinsley, Chris Wallace and my next head coach Lionel Hollins"
Direkt efter kom ett nytt inlägg:
"I feel that they are committed to developing a winner and I know that I can help them to accomplish that. I feel that I can trust them."
Det ska bli mycket spännande att följa Memphis Grizzlies denna säsong! De har många s.k "hot heads" i laget och med en potentiell startfemma bestående av Iverson, Mayo, Gasol, Gay och Randolph så kan det nog gå riktigt bra i år.
