Bournemouth-tränare kanske tar plats på West Ham-bänken.
Förstetränaren i Bournemouth, Peter Grant, sägs vara på väg till West Ham.
Grant, som spelade i Reading när Pardew jobbade där, har fått tillstånd av Bournemouth att prata med West Ham om jobbet som andretränare efter den sparkade Paul Goddard.
Bournemouth's ordförande Peter Phillips:
"Peter is young and ambitious and this is a great opportunity for him to further his career.
"Although we will be very sorry to lose him, I do not think it would be right for the club to stand in his way.
"Peter has done a first rate job for AFC Bournemouth in the past three years," added Phillips. "He has formed an outstanding management team with Sean O'Driscoll, and will not be easy to replace.
"Nevertheless, we wish him every success. West Ham are a club with a great tradition for playing attractive football and developing high quality youngsters.
"Over the years we have had a good relationship with the Hammers and I'm sure that Peter will help to maintain and build on this in the future."
