Gunners annonserar på sin hemsida att FC Basels egyptiske hårdföre mittfältare Mohamed Elneny ansluter till Gunners med omedelbar verkan.
Klubbens förste egyptiske fotbollsspelare - om jag inte är helt fel ute. kan finnas någon junior som haft något påbrå, men inte vad jag vet. 23 år gammal med föertalet år i schweiziska ligan noch ett förflutet från Egyptiska ligan, som han docklämnade efter katastrofen i Port Said 2011.
Gunners får en mittfältare som känns rätt idealisk just nu, då Arteta, Flamster och Rosicky sjunger på sista versen, Wilshere är skadad och Coquelin är långtidsskadad.
Wenger skiner i kapp med den afrikanska solen och säger "Overall I believe he will be a good addition to the squad.First he has not come in straight to a big club, he had an intermediate stay in Europe so the adaptation is less of a question mark.He is 23 years old and has already got Champions League, Europa League and Swiss League experience. Vi får hoppas att han är en större framgång i London, än den egyptier- MIdo - som landade i Spurs för 8-9 år sedan. Det behöver man ju inte ens gissa förresten. Bara att välja Spurs tyder på sinnessvaghet.
