Har man hört Glenn Roeder efter matchen så är man inte ensam över att vara besviken över förlusten och de båda insläppta målen.
I sin helhet och i början av matchen så spelade vi bra. Men målen som först gjorde att matchen svängde och sedan slutade i en förlust är oerhörda misstag och Roeder kan inte heller dölja sitt missnöje.
Roeder: ”I was pleased with the way we started, But the turning point was their equaliser which we are not too happy with, in that Nolan obviously and clearly pushes Ramage in the back and that doesn't help Ramage keep the ball out of the back of the net.
“It was a shocking goal to concede, it without doubt changed the game. It made it difficult for our young team, especially the young back four in the second half.
“They never dropped their heads, I thought they fought hard all the way. Bolton are difficult to play against.
“The winning goal was poor from a long throw, we did not defend very well at the near post and it gets through to the back post and Anelka knocks it in.
“Overall I can't imagine it was a particularly attractive game to watch.”
