The FA issues disciplinary charges against Fulham FC...
The FA have issued a number of disciplinary charges relating to the match between West Bromwich Albion and Fulham on Saturday 18th September.
Fulham FC have been charged with failing to ensure that their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from violent and/or threatening and/or provocative behaviour.
The charge relates to the conduct of Fulham players towards referee Mike Dean at various times during the match, and at the time of the sending-off of West Brom's Neil Clement.
Furthermore, it is alleged that Fulham failed to ensure that Papa Bouba Diop vacated the field of play and technical area following his sending-off.
Striker Andrew Cole has been charged for the use of abusive and/or insulting words to a match official following his sending-off. Cole has also received an additional charge of violent conduct.
In addition, Fulham manager Chris Coleman has been charged with a breach of FA Rule E3 for failing to act in the best interests of the game and/or bringing the game into disrepute. The charge relates to his post-match comments about referee Mark Halsey following the match against Arsenal on Saturday 11th September.
Both Fulham FC and Cole have 14 days to respond as these incidents have not been dealt with under the fast-track system. The cases will be heard on Wednesday 6th October.
The Club is considering its position.
