Föga förvånande blev Roberto Martinez månadens tränare i december i League 1. Swansea lyckades vinna fyra av fyra matcher, varav en var mot toppkonkurrenten Leeds, och gick dessutom vidare i FA-cupen. Utmanarna var Sean O’Driscoll (Doncaster), Russel Slade (Yeovil) och Richard Money (Walsall).
Ordförande för Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards säger följande:
"SwanseaCity are enjoying a phenomenal run of form at present. Roberto Martinez's side were unbeaten in December and are playing some of the most attractive football in League One at the moment.
Their win against title rivals Leeds was a huge result and they now head into the New Year as the team to catch at the top of League One."
