Dean tycker....

Han är här igen, vår man i SW6!!

After a great result last weekend the lads were brought crashing back down to earth with a 2-1 defeat at Boro on Tuesday. A disappointing, but nut completely unexpected, result which meant that we remained in 9th position.

On a brighter note the draw for the FA Cup quarter-finals means that we will travel to West Bromwich Albion - a draw which every Fulham fan is delighted with. True, it is another away game, but it is also a very winnable game and
a whole lot better than a trip to Highbury or St. James Park where we wouldn´t have been expecting to much. As it is we have a fantastic chance of reaching the semi´s this way and there really is a true belief that this could finally be our year and we will lift the famous trophy in May.

I can picture it now. Cookie Coleman walking up, collecting the trophy and lifting it in front of 30,000 Fulham fans and the drabs of Chelsea supporters who haven´t yet managed to get out after they´ve been thrashed 3-0! (Ok maybe
a bit of an exaggeration but we all have dreams!)

On a more realistic note we have to travel to Highbury this weekend and although the prospect is exciting, I´m not too hopeful of coming away with a result. We really are a different team away from home, but we do have half a
chance as the Gunners will be without a few regulars such as Keown, Cole and Bergkamp. A draw would be a fantastic result and a win would be amazing. I´m going to be optimistic and predict a 1-1 draw. Lets all pray that we catch the Gunners on one of their off days and that we can finally start turning chances into goals.

Keep the faith.
