we are writing to you on behalf of the big set of Newcastle supporters in Sweden.
First and foremost, we are all devastated for your sake and the injury that you sustained on Saturday, and we are all eager to show our support for you, and back you in the tough battle ahead of you. We are certain of the fact that you will pull through and come back as strong and fit as before.
During the few games that you have played for the club, we’ve all been incredibly impressed with your ability. As you probably know, Newcastle United have had a few years of disappointing results, so the excitement that a player of your calibre brings to us supporters is invaluable. It’s been a long time since we’ve been looking forward this much to watch a specific player perform each weekend.
Your performance against Everton was probably the best full debut we’ve seen from a new signing in years, and I’m certain of the fact that many supporters would say the same.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to put on the black and white shirt again before the end of the season, and that there will be enough reason for you and the club to make you stay with us for many years to come.
On behalf of all the Swedish Newcastle supporters, we wish you all the best in your journey back to full fitness and a speedy recovery. We all look forward to you performing for us again come next spring.
