QPR kommer att överklaga Bartons straff
Enligt Rangers officiella hemsida kommer man att överklaga Bartons röda kort.
Man går ut med följande korta pressmeddelande:
"QPR have formally lodged an appeal to the Football Association following Joey Barton's sending off against Norwich City on Monday 2nd January.
The Rangers skipper was given his marching orders in the 36th minute of our 2-1 defeat to the Canaries.
The Club will be making no further comment."
