Adrián - Thank You & Goodbye
Nu har Linus Lövgren släppt ännu en Betis video. Denna gången är det om målvakten Adrián San Miguel som fick sitt genombrott säsongen som gick och lämnade för West Ham då hans kontrakt gick ut med Betis.
After spending his first five senior seasons playing for the club's reserve team, last season saw his breakthrough, when rival 'keeper Casto was sent off in a match against Manuel Pellegrini's Malaga. From that moment on, Adrian didn't look back, making 31 league apperances and keeping 11 clean sheets.
Adrian's most notable performance to date came in Betis's 1-0 home win over Real Madrid, after which the stopper was named man-of-the-match. He was awarded the same plaudit in Betis's 0-0 draw with Getafe in April.
Adrián's contract ran out after the season, and many thought he would sign a new contract with the Seville club. But so wasn't the case, instead he choosed to sign for the English club West Ham United. A big surprise and let-down for the Betis-fans.
