Angel borta en månad till
Villas målskytt nummer ett blir borta ett tag till.
Knäproblemen vill inte riktigt ge med sig för Juan Pablo Angel. Han har inte tränat något på försäsongen och endast spelat en halvlek mot Jönköping. Därför har DOL sagt att han inte räknar med JPA den närmaste månaden då spelaren behöver bygga upp sig igen.
O'Leary säger:
"I'd say he's probably about a month off, but I wouldn't want to set any targets, because then you get to a month and it can be a big disappointment.
The lad is making progress, but from the last game of last season, he's done nothing all through the summer. He's come back and done a minute amount of training.
He's played half a game in Sweden in a Mickey Mouse game, but he's missed six weeks of the pre-season and pre-season is highly important. So he's a long way back. "I think his knee is going along absolutely fantastically well, but it's not completely right yet."
Vi Villafans får alltså vänta en stund på vår stjärna.
