AVSC Sweden tog hem priset som säsongens Bästa Utländska supporterclub för säsongen 2007-08.

Vi har blivit utsedda till säsongens Bästa Utländska Supporterclub.
Mycket tack vare våra medlemmars intensiva resande till Villa Park. Bl a var vi största fanclub på derbyt senast med 60 medlemmar på plats.
Det är inte många supporterklubbar inom Aston Villa Lions club som är större än våran.
Villa har många supporterklubbar, AVSC Sweden med 222st medlemmar tillhör dom större.
We are delighted to announce the winners of the supporters club of the year awards. Best international branch was AVSC Sweden , best National branch was Leamington & Warwick and the overall Winning Club who went away with the new annual supporters club of the year trophy went to Leamington & Warwick.
Two dates for your diary, The official Supporters club Christmas party at the Holte suite after the Bolton Wanderers home game on Saturday December 13th 2008. A buffet and disco is the order of the day, with more details to follow in due course.
The " big one" for your diary, Sunday May 24th 2009, after Newcastle United at Villa Park we will be hosting the supporters club of the year awards in the Holte suite. This, if successful which i am sure it will be, will now be an annual event after the last home game of every season. This year it fall nicely on a English bank holiday weekend, and
this fixture will not be changed by Sky Tv etc, so a 3pm kick off is a definite. The finer details will be released in the New year.
