Dave har haft lite mycket på sistone men nu är han tillbaka med en rapport från Stoke + lite bilder.

What a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

2 Sendings off
3 Points in the bag
4 Times Stoke hit the woodwork
And all on the television aswell. Oh before I forget..even the tannoy system worked properly.
If ever Stoke needed a win and 3 precious points then it was today. To of lost to the team below us at home would of done team and supporter confidence no good what so ever.
I thought the game was similar to Englands in midweek i.e. started well, took the lead, then concede a goal & loads of possession to the opposition before a much improved second half performance.
Pulis again shuffled the pack. The good news was that Ab Faye passed a late fitness test and started.

Griff.....Good game
Higgy...Did really well. Kept cool when the wind was blowing
Ab Faye...Superb. Absolute quality
Sonko...Did well. Injured again though
Olly....Patchy
Diao...Good second half
Soares... Fouled twice for the both pens. Should of scored early on. Grew in confidence as the game progressed.
Delap....So pleased that he could show the media that he can do more that just take throw-ins
Mama....Tireless effort for the team.
Kitson....Worked well. Looked pissed off when substituted though.
Shaw x.....Did what he had to do when called upon.
Fuller........Sheer class
