With having Fuller already suspended and Kitson injured so early into this match I was content for Stoke to stay unbeaten and take a point from the game.
So when Mama secured all 3 points with a glorious header late on, it was a cause for jubilant scenes of celebration in the Boothen end.
Our run against West Brom is truly incredible.............They must hate us.
Sorro.... Enjoyed a much less active day than last weekend.
Griff...Had a bit of an off day. Got caught in possession late in the game, which could of resulted in a WBA goal.
Higgy.... Good game. Delivered a peach of a cross for Mamas goal.
Abdy Faye...Solid. Did what he does. No problems.
Shawcross...Good game. Injured late on with what appeared to be a back problem. . Having a scan on Monday
Amdy Faye.. Had a really good second half. Possibly his best in a Stoke shirt.
Diao...Good overall.
Delap.... Had a great game. His throw-ins weren't so accurate today though.
Soares...Given a starting role. Looked livelier in the second half but delivered some awful crosses
Mama.... Truly fantastic display. Won absolutely every header and scored his second league goal of the season ( both winners ).
Kitson.... Given his chance to impress due to Fullers suspension but got injured early on. He is also having a scan on Monday.
Cresswell....Replaced the injured Kitson and to be fair he worked really hard and chased everything. He didn't look like scoring though.
Tonge.........Replaced Soares and made a real impact. He laid the ball on for Higgy to cross for Mamas goal.
Cort............Replaced the injured Shawcross and it was nice to see him back in the team as I feel he was a little unlucky to lose his place. Did well.
The premiership this year has got to be one of the most exciting for a long time. It’s so close between the teams.
