Sorenson 6 Could have been more commanding for the second goal, but let down in defence for the first
DLC 6 In patches good, is patches he went missing. Certainly a better performance than usual.
Ridgewell 7 I'd have him in the team till the end of the season, he is commanding, shouts instructions and doesn't look out of his depth
Melly 6 Missed the header that led to goal number one.
Samuel 4 One of my favourite players, but he was awful this time, gave the ball away with almost every pass.
Barry 5 Off colour and soon off the pitch, was apparently ill before the game, he certainly looked it.
Solano 5 Was doing very little of note, again, passes just not coming off, which was across the board really.
Hendrie 7 Tried to command the game, not good enough to be the leader in a team imho, but at least he was making the effort to try.
Hits 5 Not seen him so anonymous before, Aitkin was certainly trying to gee him up, to no effect obviously.
Angel 5 Average game from most, Angel certainly never really got the ball,
no chances of note supplied.
Vassell 3 Nothing, nowt, zilch. Needs to be benched and brought on as a
'super sub'. Certainly never looks up when he runs with the ball, missed a
couple of good chances to pass to Hendrie in space.
Substitutes
Whitt 6 The battle had been lost by then, but he certainly has promise.
L Moore 6 Got involved, looks a prospect, but nothing of great note
yesterday. Looks like he could worry defences though.
Crouch Not on long enough to make a difference or rate
DOL and Aitkin 6 Would have brought Vassell off earlier, but Aitkin was
constantly expressing his views to the team.
Referee: D'Urso :Not even really worth a mention - like normal
Home: 6 Tried to lift the team, I think we all expected an easy win!
Away: 5 Poor attendance, poor atmosphere. They expected to be beaten.
Chicken Pie: No chicken pie today, had a ham roll(7)in the Sacred HEart.
Infact, the pre-match with my mates was the best part of the day.
My ratings defined: 1) Totally awful, had a mare, should be taken out and
shot, 2) Awful, but not usual standard, 3) Very poor, needs to improve
quickly 4) Poor, below the standard expected, 5) Average, the least
expected, 6) Better than average, but in patches only, 7) Good, generally
decent performance, 8) Very good, above the standard, standing out at
times, 9) Excellent, stood out all match, 10) Outstanding (aka Paul
McGrath!). Truly commanded the match, stunning.
