Den israeliske landslagsmannen Tal Ben Haim är på besök på Bodymoor Heath för att visa upp sig för tränarstaben. Han har spelat 14 landskamper och är 22 år. Just nu är han lagkapten i Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Chefs-scout Ian Broomfield sager:

"We've brought him over because he comes highly recommended and is arousing interest right across Europe. He wants to come and have a look at Aston Villa as much as we are interested in having a look at him.

"He's here for a few days, but it must be stressed that this is nothing more than a chance to have a look and nothing else has been discussed at this stage."
