Ugo Ehiogu's drömelva
Ugo gjorde 291 matcher mellan 1991-2000. Han bildade tillsammans med Gareth Southgate, ett av Premier League:s starkaste mittlås. Han lämnande klubben på bedrövliga villkor.
1. There was a period of about fours years where MARK BOSNICH was immense. In that time he always seemed to be making miracle saves.
2. I have opted for GARY CHARLES at right-back primarily because he was a very skilful footballer and loved getting forward.
3. ALAN WRIGHT made the left-back role his own during my period with Villa. He belied his height with fantastic heading ability too.
4. UGO EHIOGU. I hope you don't mind but I had to play with these lads again.
5. PAUL McGRATH was such a talented star and played magnificent football with so many restrictions - problems with his knees and his health. Despite all these problems, he's never let anyone down on the pitch.
6. KEVIN RICHARDSON is one of my central midfielders because of his consistency. He was a solid player and you always knew what you'd get from Kevin week-in and week-out.
7. I have put RAY HOUGHTON in the team purely for his ability to moan. In his defence, he was a really intelligent footballer too.
8. DAVID PLATT was leaving as I was making my name at the club but I had to pick him. His record for Villa and England means he had to make it into my Dream Team to play alongside Kevin.
9. DWIGHT YORKE, in my opinion, is one of football's modern day stars. Even in games where he didn't get any service, he still scored goals. He was a real team player and had tremendous ability. He played with a smile on his face too.
10. DALIAN ATKINSON could turn any game around in our favour with a sublime bit of skill - remember the goal at Wimbeldon! He was to quality on his day and was an integral part of our League Cup success in 1994.
11. STEVE STAUNTON was gifted with his left foot. He put in some quality balls from set-pieces becuase his left foot was like a magic wand!
12. Sadly I've had to leave out DEAN SAUNDERS. He was a goal machine and did an unbelievable job for the club. Like Dwight he played with a smile on his face and was hilarious in the dressing room.
