Hur går det för Henderson?

Vår utlånade målvakt briljerar i Tamworth. Dave Cooper rapporterar.

As you probably know, our third choice keeper Wayne Henderson is on loan at Tamworth. This is a brief note about his two games so far:

Vs Stevenage (Lost 3-1)

Wayne was very assured throughout, commanding his area well despite not really knowing his team mates. Made two excellent reflex saves and was quick off his line on several occasions to snuff out any danger. Tamworth's defence imploded in the last ten minutes and he conceded three goals but was not at fault for any of them (one penalty and two close range efforts).
8/10

Vs Scarborough (Won 1-0)

Wayne may have had an advantage being the only professional at part-time Tamuff, he didn't have to do a full days work before trekking off to the wilds of Yorkshire. Managed a brief word with him before I joined the other 41 Tamworth fans who made the trip, wished him luck and asked him if he'd like to stay for another season (no apparently!). He was most impressive in this match, probably MOTM, although that isn't saying a lot, it was an abysmal game! Again he was vocal, caught eveything, kicked well and made one astonishing reflex stop after a shot took a deflection and was heading for the top corner. A clean sheet to hep us to three ponts that could well mean we stop up this season, cheers wayne.
9/10

I have to say that Henderson is making the most of this loan spell, he could have come to Tamworth thinking that Conference football is a bit below him (some of our loanees have had really crap attitudes), but he seems to have knuckled down, the manager thinks he's great and he has really helped us out of a hole after our last two keepers have both got injured.
