THEO'S UP FOR IT - AND SO ARE THESE DIEHARD LIONS FANS
'Hega Millwall' - that's 'C'mon Millwall' in Swedish
ONE group of Millwall fans will have to shout pretty loud if their cheers get heard at the FA Cup Semi-Final at Old Trafford on Sunday.
As the game kicks off at noon on Sunday they'll be 1,000 miles away - in Sweden.
It's a long way from The Den, but supporters will be cheering on the Lions in a pub in Stockholm.
The "Millwall Sweden" fanbase was set up in 2002 and has 85 members who keep track of the team's progress through the internet, magazines and even a trip to The Den each season.
Henrik Lundgren, president of the supporters' club, says it's not too strange to see Lions followers so far from Bermondsey.
He said: "English league football has been broadcasted on Swedish TV since 1969. They show five matches every weekend, including on First Division game."
Teddy Sheringham was on loan to a Swedish team before making his name at Millwall, which Henrik reckons did a lot for their popularity. Henrik himself started to follow Millwall in 1995 after meeting Alex Ray, then playing for the Lions, at an under-21 international between Sweden and Scotland.
"He told me not to care about the big London sides like Arsenal and Tottenham, and instead go and watch his club, who had the most passionate fans in the country."
Henrik has been hooked ever since. He and his mates will be cheering in the Tudor Arms pub central Stockholm this Sunday hoping for a win.
As they say in Sweden: "Hega Millwall."
