Do you agree with the board of disciplinary action that what happened in that situation is deemed worthy of a three game suspension? If no, why not?
A decision has been made and I am moving on with the intention of bringing my best to the team so that I can help Malmo win some hockey games and make the playoffs.
Your game has been steady and reliable throughout this first half of the season. Some players from AHL sometimes seem to struggle a bit in the transition to the style of hockey in the SHL. Why has it been so effortless for you?
Being able to play four exhibition games allowed me to get a feel of how the game is played on the bigger ice. Along with a lot of communication with the coaches and players through video and just asking questions has brought me up to speed quickly.
We are in a bit of pickle in the standings and lately our results have been unfortunate, despite mostly good gameplay. Going forward, the simple truth is that we need to start winning some games in order to save the season. How would you describe the general mood in the team, right now, is there a sense of urgency and what do you do to avoid negative thinking and negative mindsets, moving forward?
The team's morale is high. We know as a group that we are better than our record shows. We feel that in most games we are right there and have played the way that we want. There is still a lot of hockey to be played and the belief in the room hasn’t changed.
Lastly, has there been any discussions about an extension yet?
Conversations have started between the team and my agent.
